Upcoming Exercise and Project Format

The rest of the exercises in this lesson and the next are in place to help you develop the project step by step. Each exercise iterates a little bit on the project code, so that by the time you have completed all of the exercises, you will have a complete project.

Unlike the ASCII A* exercises for the first half of this course, your own code will be saved from exercise to exercise, so the code you end with will be completely yours. This means that there will be no solution.cpp file for each exercise, and you must do all the exercises in order.

If you are having trouble with any exercise, look for a short walkthrough video after each terminal IDE in the classroom. This walkthrough will discuss the solution code for the exercise.
